Synopsis

An ill-stricken community living beside the Manila Railroad gets their dose of miracles from a 7-year old Bisaya street urchin who violently hurts the sick in a bid to magically heal them.

Director Bio

Che Espiritu is a Filipina Writer-Director and Children’s Filmmaker. She studied Film at the University of the Philippines and later on completed her Film Master’s degree in Florida State University, USA. Her short films, 'Last Children' and 'Mami' (Mommy), have been featured in Toronto International Film Festival and other children’s festivals in Asia, Europe and America.

Her directorial debut feature, 'Pan De Salawal', for Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival 2018. The film won the Special Jury Prize and Best Direction. Che ultimately dreams of becoming one of Asia’s renowned Children’s filmmakers in the future.
